Q - What do I need to run NRGSTREAM Professional?
To run NRGSTREAM Professional you need a current browser from Microsoft or Firefox. We have gone the extra mile to ensure that NRGSTREAM Professional is compatible with these two browsers. We are compatible with the Opera browser but have noticed that some buttons do not work properly. We recommend you use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
Q - What browser settings need to be enabled?
The following browser settings are needed to be enabled for NRGSTREAM Professional to function properly.

ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Download Signed ActiveX controls enable or prompt
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins must be enabled
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting must be enabled
Scripting
Active Scripting must be enabled
Q - I want to use the interactive charting on NRGSTREAM Professional charts, but all I get is a big X where the chart should be.
The ActiveX control for the interactive charts is not installed. Depending on your security settings, you may get the following bar near the top of your browser:

"This website wants to install the following add-on: 'ChartFX Internet' from 'Software FX.'. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to install it, click here..."

If you get this message, click on it and choose "Install this Add-on...". If you don't get this message, you will need to contact your IT department and have them install it for you.
Q - I want to download 40 days of 5 minute data in NRGSTREAM professional, but it keeps saying that there is a maximum point limitation of 10,000 points. How can I get around this limitation?
Set your Rolling Range to select your 40 days of data and click the DOWNLOAD button. Do not hit Enter or press REFRESH prior to clicking DOWNLOAD.
Q - I am trying to do an overlay of yesterday vs today on the same stream. I know that in NRGSTREAM Trader I can duplicate a stream and set it to yesterday for my overlay, how do I do this with NRGSTREAM Professional?
Go into the Stream you want to copy. Click on the COPY button at the top. You will notice that the copy of the Stream has the word “COPY” appended on the end. Set your rolling range to yesterday and click SAVE. Create a new chart and add your original Stream and the COPY of the Stream you just created to the new chart.
Q - What differentiates NRGSTREAM Professional from NRGSTREAM Trader?
The main difference is NRGSTREAM Professional is a Browser application and NRGSTREAM Trader is a Desktop application. Unlike Trader, there is no client software to install to access to your account. Go to www.nrgstream.com and click the Login tab, enter your user credentials an you are connected immediately.
Q - How do I set a Stream Alert?
 Go to the DATA tab.
 Navigate the folders to find the stream you wish to set the alert on, as you would to view the data for that stream.
 Click the Alerts tab, then the Enabled check box and set your min and max values.
 Click SAVE.
Q - How do I change the password on my NRGSTREAM Professional account?
 Login to NRGSTREAM Professional.
 Click the PROFILE tab and enter your old password on the left.
 Enter your new password and confirm the password and click SAVE.
Q - I would like to view data on my wireless devices. Does NRGSTREAM have this capability?
Yes, this feature is available when creating a Panel.
To create a new Panel:
 Click on the Panels tab. Click New to create a Panel.
 From Stream Selector window, navigate the Stream folders to make your Stream selections. Click Save when you have finished selecting Streams.
 Edit the Panel options: Name, Fonts, Display options etc…
 Click the link that says "Generate Link for Wireless".
 A link will be sent to the designated email address on your account and will appear at the top of the Panel.
 Forward the URL to your wireless device. Whenever you launch the link from your wireless device it will display the latest information for the Streams contained in the panel.
Q - would like to download data from NRGSTREAM Professional. Is this option available?
Yes, every chart and stream has a Download button to download the data into a CSV file. However, if you require the ability to run frequent extracts and wish toschedule recurring data downloads. Thenwe recommend a seperate NRGSTREAM Xtractor account or upgrade to NRGSTREAM Trader.
Q – I’ve inherited NRGSTREAM Professional from a previous user. Unfortunately, there are way too many alerts. How do I identify and disable any active alerts?
 Click on the Alerts tab to view all Events and Active Streams Alerts.
 To disable an Active Alert – click on the Stream Name, then uncheck the Alerts Enabled check box and click Save.
 To disable an Active Event – click on the Event Name, then click the Delete button.
Q - I would like to open multiple windows simultaneously. How can I do this?
Multiple windows can be opened by using the POPUP features. Charts, Panels and individual Streams can be popped up for display.
Q - Does NRGSTREAM show Standard Deviation?
Yes, this feature is available as selectable display options. We have hourly, daily and monthly Standard Deviation representing the hourly, daily and monthly variation from the average.
